Taste of Nations
Taste of Nations is a vibrant community celebration that brings together the rich cultural diversity of Airdrie. Join us for an afternoon filled with delicious food, lively performances, interactive cultural displays, and opportunities to connect with neighbours from all walks of life.
Whether you're showcasing your heritage or discovering new traditions, Taste of Nations is a space to celebrate what makes our community unique.

Let's Spark Wellness
Let’s Spark Wellness is a free, recurring speaker series hosted in partnership with the Airdrie Public Library. These in-person sessions bring together local residents, professionals, and subject-matter experts to explore a wide range of wellness topics—from mental health and resilience to physical activity, nutrition, creativity, and self-care.
Registration is recommended to secure a spot, with drop-ins welcome if space allows.

Cooking Classes
Our cooking classes create a welcoming space where food brings people together. Participants explore dishes from around the world, build new skills, and connect with neighbours from diverse backgrounds. Stay tuned for upcoming sessions.

Recreation & Sports

Library of Things
Borrowable Rec Passes
With a library card, residents can borrow a Genesis Place Recreation Pass for two weeks. Pass access includes: Fitness centre, Group fitness classes, Public swimming, Drop-in sports and family play programs. Learn more or borrow a pass through the Library of Things.
Memory Kits
Memory Kits are designed for caregivers and individuals living with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or memory loss. Each kit includes books, music, games, conversation cards, and caregiver resources to support meaningful connection. Memory Kits are available at the Airdrie Public Library. Ask a librarian for details.

Sports Try-It Weekend 2026
Sports Try-It is a joint initiative with Airdrie Sports Council, created to promote active living and build community connections. Residents are invited to try a variety of sports free of charge in a welcoming, inclusive environment!
