About Us
Together Airdrie Thrives is a community-led, council-endorsed partnership.
Who We Are
Together Airdrie Thrives is a community‑led partnership, supported by the City of Airdrie and Primary Care Alberta, uniting residents, community organizations, service providers, and local government to promote health and well‑being in Airdrie.
We are founded on the understanding that health is shaped by more than healthcare—it is influenced by the places we live, our relationships, and the social, environmental, and lifestyle factors that affect our daily lives.
By working across sectors and centering community voices, we support collective action that strengthens connection, belonging, and long-term wellbeing for all residents.
Vision and Mission
Our Vision
A healthy, connected, and welcoming Airdrie where everyone belongs.
Our Mission
To leverage local strengths, partnerships, and collaboration to create opportunities that support all residents to thrive in Airdrie.
Our Priorities
1. Strengthening social connection and belonging.
2. Increasing access to physical activity and recreation.
How We Started – The Healthier Together Network
Together Airdrie Thrives began as Healthier Together Airdrie, a community-driven effort focused on prevention, connection, and wellbeing. As the work evolved, so did the vision – growing into a broader, more inclusive approach to community health across Airdrie.
Healthier Together is a province-wide approach supported by Primary Care Alberta and Alberta Health Services (AHS). Airdrie was selected as one of seven communities across Alberta to put this approach into practice.
Healthier Together Initiative Communities
To make an even bigger impact, Healthier Together is working with communities across Alberta using a connected cross-setting approach on local priorities that matter most.
